Roadmap
The roadmap highlights projects we have completed, initiatives currently in progress, and plans for the future. Developments take time, but our goal is to continuously improve erih+ and make it as useful as possible for the research community.
Roadmap
To be able to meet the needs of the European SSH community erih+ is enhancing on several areas. One area is to improve its technical platform and next is to enhance the quality of the content like information and metadata. Last it is a priority area to add new and demanded for content to erih+. The roadmap is giving an overview of some of the work planned for and done.
Planned: Improved integration with OPERAS services
Closer alignment with European open science infrastructure, including multilingualism and diamond OA initiatives.
Launched 2026. Integration with the ISSN register
erih+ has launched a new and improved submission form. In addition to it being built in new technology and design, it is also streamlined. The users add an ISSN number and erih+ will check the international ISSN register. If the ISSN is correct, the form "automagically" fill itself out with the ISSN data.
Launched 2026: Download your search results as Excel.
When doing a search in erih+ you are now able to download the result of your search and filter to an excel sheet for further processing.

Launched 2025: Improved journal search
erih+ now has an improved its search technology using Typesense. The search is now faster and produces relevant result each time .
